Canine balance: zen dogs

Yin-Yang

Now, if only one were actually a yellow lab.

And I made myself crazy measuring them, comparing what they measure side by side and trying to decide if they really needed a second dog cushion.

....

Are they zen about farting?

From an email I received, I realize that I was unclear. Baccarat and Rapide each have a cushion. I had hesitated because they take up so much space, but I went ahead and got the second because sometimes they liked to have their own space when they slept a folded moving blanket. Sometimes they sleep apart, sometimes with a paw or muzzle tip touching the other, sometimes they are as close as they can get. Rumps make great pillows.

As for the farting, I believe this might refer to Bexar. Thank God in heaven that ours almost never fart. I think Rapide has farted twice in the year and a half we have had her. Does he get table scraps? Ours don't, and I think it makes a big difference because my in-laws' dogs fart up a storm (especially in the car) and that's all they eat.

I am sure they would be very tolerant, though. Dogs are dogs.

Did we ever show you the photos of Oscar and Floof on the same pillow, in zen-like cat circle of ying-yang-ness? (Black-ish cat v. pale-furred cat, male v. female.)
